Whitney Leidner 's Memory about Chris

I have the privilege of working alongside his daughter, Courtney Nelson, at Refinery Salon. While I never had the chance to meet Chris, I can truly appreciate the values he passed on to Courtney, which are evident in her compassionate nature and steadfast dedication to her work. It's clear that Chris's legacy lives on through Courtney's actions, her willingness to help others, and her unwavering commitment to her craft. Her positivity and determination are infectious, inspiring everyone around her to strive for excellence and approach each day with an open heart, a genuine testament to the profound influence her father had on her life. I am grateful that Courtney had the opportunity to spend his final months caring for him, as it meant the world to her. Though he is no longer with us, I am sure his spirit will continue to endure in Courtney and her family.

Michael Borg's Memory about Chris

One of my fondest memories of Chris is when he drove up to our home with Courtney, Lyndsi, Whitney, and Chelsea for the weekend. We were in the driveway shooting hoops on our new basketball hoop I installed. Chris immediately noticed that the rim was not set right, grabbed the ladder and immediately fixed the rim in less than a few minutes on something I spent hours doing! He spent the weekend repairing all my little projects that needed fixing. That was typical Chris that would always help anyone without thinking twice. He was a dear and trusted friend that will be missed by anyone that knew him. RIP Chris.
