James age 85, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday February 28, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 14, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to Meilford Dorton and Mary Wade. He is survived by his wife of 33years Sandra. Children Vance, Vanessa, Aleshia (Greg), Veronica (Archie), Alexis, Ian, and Alyse. He is proceeded in death by both parents, and his oldest son Anthony. He is retired from both the National Reserves (35 years) and The Buckeye Boys Youth Ranch. (40 years). A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 2, 2025 at Families First Cremation and Funeral at Edwards at 1p. The family viewing will be at 12p.
