In Memory of Faelynn Hawkins

10/27/2014 - 01/04/2025 from Watertown MA

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Faelynn Isabelle Hawkins on January 4, 2025, age 10 years. Born on October 27, 2014 to Heather Hawkins (neé Thompson) and Tyler Hawkins, Faelynn was a ray of sunshine who filled our hearts with warmth and happiness. Known affectionately to many as "Fay", "FayBelle", or "FaybieBaby", Faelynn was a beacon of joy, best described as sweet, bubbly, and loving. She was magic personified. Faelynn was all things good and beautiful about people. Her pure, beautiful spirit made her a positive force in every life she touched. She was well known and well loved by her friends, family, classmates, and community. Faelynn had a knack for teaching those around her valuable lessons in life, her most poignant included now to truly love, and what a pure heart looks like. These lessons will forever echo in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was the quintessential baby of the family - the youngest daughter, cousin and grandchild. Fay was a portrait of purity. She wanted to be just like her sisters. She left this earthly plain still calling her parents Mommy & Daddy, calling her big sisters Sissy, and misspelling words like 'seriously' and 'because'. She left us far too young, and will be remembered as our sweet Little Lamb. Though her time on Earth was short, Faelynn's legacy is one of pure, unbridled, and innocent love. She lived her life spreading love and warmth, and in doing so, imparted a piece of her heart to everyone she met. Her love and spirit will forever guide and comfort us, just as her memory will remain etched in our hearts forever. Faelynn is cradled in the arms of the Mother of Jesus until she can be held by her earthly parents again. Faelynn is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Fayrene Thompson and Lynn Hawkins, and her paternal grandfather, Todd Hawkins. Fay is survived by her parents, Heather and Tyler, big sisters, Lola Calyse (14), Blair Elizabeth (16), Calia Rayne (19), and Grace Audrey (22); her aunts and uncles Alyssa Sholler (neé Thompson) and Dalton Sholler of Brookline, MA; Nathan Thompson and Mary Ann Thompson (nee Little) of Boston, MA; Wyatt Hawkins and Brittney Hawkins (neé Toren) of Salem, MA; Ryan Hawkins and Abigail Hawkins (neé Bierhals) of Stowe, VT; Bryce Hawkins and Elizabeth Hawkins (neé O Clery) of Grapevine, TX; Kyle Hawkins and Lauren Hawkins (neé Walsh) of Charlotte, NC; cousins Walter William Sholler and Theodore James Sholler of Brookline; Alva Jane Thompson, Edmund George Thompson, and Hugh Laurence Thompson of Boston; Kiley Grace Hawkins, Brinlee Ann Hawkins, and Marlie Rose Hawkins of Salem; Poppy Mae Hawkins of Stowe; Samuel John Hawkins and Sarah JoAnne Hawkins of Grapevine; and Luca Thomas Hawkins of Charlotte. Faelynn loved Bratz Dolls, baby blue, fairies, Disney Princesses, mermaids, the beach, fuzzy blankets, dancing, ballet, tap, soccer, cheer, ice skating, Peelerz Gummies, makeup, trendy clothes, gold jewelry, perfumes and body sprays, her stuffed bunny "Miffy", bunnies, sheep, sparkles, playing outside, making videos, Alani energy drinks, ChickFilA, smoothies. playing with her friends, her big sisters, her family, her teachers, and her coaches. Her favorite places in the world were Martha's Vineyard - where she told everyone she was going to live one day - and the Outer Banks, because her family, including her parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins, would have their big family vacations there every year. Faelynn's celebration of life will be held on January 10, 2025 at Sacred Heart Parish 770 Mt. Auburn St Watertown, MA 02472, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and Graveside at Catholic Mount Auburn Cemetery 64 Cottage St Watertown, MA 02472.
