Christina Dancy 53, has entered eternal life on September 3 2023. Daughter and survived by Joyce (Sayde) Hems and Harold Hems. Survived by Joe Dancy(Husband) Her 3 sisters Lisa Moynihan, Tiffany Hems, Mellisa Hems, Her cousin George Gourlay IV , her 3 children Renee Dancy (Thomas Pierce) , Justin Dancy (Erika Fazzone) , Leon Loubier , and step son Desmond Dancy and her 5 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Christina is predeceased by her Brother Justin Bradley,Grandmother Louise DiLorenzo Gourlay, her Uncle George Gourlay, and Wanda Dancy her step daughter. Christina Dancy 53, has entered eternal life on September 3, 2023 at Ellis Hospital. Christina was raised in Colonie New York, where she attended Colonie high school later transferring to Rhinecliff New York where she then graduating as salutatorian and achieved advanced awards in English Math and Science. Later she attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie New York, graduating with a degree in accounting. Christina Dancy a most magical woman that was selfless, hard-working, and loving, a powerhouse of strength and spirit. Christina has touched so many lives with her Grace yet direct attitude. Beginning a family journey in the restaurant business first began at the Docksider on Saratoga lake in New York. Christina and family decided to open the Docksider, a prime location and family atmosphere. Later down the road, she started at Briar Creek the 19th hole café where she has been ever since ,the coworkers and her became one big family. If you walked through that door and had the pleasure of meeting her, you also felt her family love vibe. Christina Dancy‘s love for her family is unmatched and beyond what this world has ever seen. Her grandchildren became her whole world always taking them on fun adventures. Halloween was her favorite holiday and most fun, she was called Mama Halloween all year round. Christina and family began a haunted house in remembrance of Wanda Dancy, which soon was spread and known through the community for the amounts, raised and donated to the domestic violence. A most selfless woman, indeed, and forever missed but forever alive within our hearts.
